This is NOT a guided trip. We specialise in freedom hiking options in winter. Our Track Safety Package includes transport, crampons, poles and map for $95. This trip is highly dependent on track conditions and the weather.

Winter Transport Only Option
Winter time transport only option. Pick up from Taupo, Turangi, Tongariro Holiday Park and Ketetahi car park. This is when no cramp-ons are required and the track is mainly clear of snow and the track is safe to freedom hike.
