During the winter season the snow will come and go. As it does we either offer the Winter Track safety option where cramp-ons are required or we also offer transport only options. During the winter months when the snow melts away enough to do the full track without cramp-ons and is safe to freedom hike we can offer transport only. At this time of year there are very few people doing the crossing, we have a minimum charge rate and minimum number of passengers required before we are able to operate.
